Permissions
Control what each team role can see and do across the platform.
Go to Settings > Permissions (owner only) to configure what each role can access. Changes take effect immediately for all team members with that role.
Access Levels
Each permission area can be set to one of four levels:
| Level | Dot Color | What It Means |
|---|---|---|
| Full Access | Green | Can view, create, edit, and delete |
| View Only | Amber | Can see everything but cannot create, edit, or delete |
| Own Only | Blue | Can only see resources they personally created or were assigned to |
| Hidden | Red | Not visible in the sidebar or accessible by URL |
Own Only is useful for scoping visibility without removing access entirely. A Member with "Own Only" on Postings sees only the postings they created. A Member with "Own Only" on Candidates sees only candidates they personally invited.
Permission Areas
| Area | What It Controls |
|---|---|
| Postings | Job postings — create, edit, publish, close |
| Candidates | Candidate list, invite, revoke, reset |
| Scorecards | Scorecard viewing and evaluation |
| Transcripts | Interview transcript access |
| Comparison | Side-by-side candidate comparison |
| Analytics | Posting analytics and scoring distribution |
| Exports | CSV and PDF export of candidate data |
| Team | Team member management and invitations |
| Talent Pool | Search and import from the talent pool |
| Integrations | ATS connections and webhook configuration |
| Sessions | Employee session creation and management |
| Notifications | Notification preference management |
Roles
| Role | Default Access | Configurable |
|---|---|---|
| Owner | Full access to everything | No — always full |
| Admin | Full access to most areas | Yes |
| Member | View-only on most areas | Yes |
| Associate | Minimal read-only access | Yes |
Setting an area to Hidden removes access immediately for all team members with that role — with no warning on their end. Consider notifying them before making this change.
