Notification Preferences
Control how you receive notifications — in-app, email, or both.
Go to Settings > Notifications to control how you're notified about activity on the platform.
Notification Bell
The bell icon in the sidebar shows your unread notification count. Click it to see recent notifications:

| "Mark all read" | Clears all unread notifications at once |
| "View all notifications" | Opens the full notifications page with your complete history |
Notification Delivery
Every important event generates a notification. You choose how you receive each type:
Shows in the notification bell sidebar. On by default for all notification types. Updates in real time — if a candidate completes an interview while you're on the platform, the badge increments instantly without a refresh.
Sends an email to your account's email address. On by default for compliance and critical alerts only. Toggle individual types on or off from the Notifications settings page.

Compliance Notifications
Some notifications are marked as required by your administrator and cannot be turned off. They appear with locked toggles. This ensures compliance-critical alerts — follow-up surveys, adverse impact signals — always reach the right people regardless of individual preferences.
Interview Expiration
When a candidate's invitation expires without them completing their interview, you'll receive an "Interview expired" notification. If multiple candidates expire simultaneously, they're grouped into a single notification with a count rather than flooding your bell.
Weekly Digest
The weekly digest summarizes activity sent every Sunday at 8 AM UTC. It includes:
- Interviews completed that week
- Scorecards generated
- New candidates invited
It appears both in-app (in the bell) and via email if you have email enabled for this notification type.
