Competency Profiles

Save and reuse sets of competencies across postings.

Competency profiles are pre-built bundles of competencies. Select a profile to quickly populate a posting's competency list.

Using a Profile

On the posting form:

  1. Click the competency profile dropdown above the competency selector
  2. Select a profile (e.g., "General Behavioral")
  3. All competencies in that profile are auto-added to the posting

Creating a Profile

  1. Go to Settings > Competencies > Profiles tab
  2. Click "New Profile"
  3. Name the profile
  4. Select competencies from the searchable dropdown
  5. Click "Save"

Managing Profiles

  • Click any profile to edit its name or competency list
  • Archive profiles you no longer need
  • Platform profiles (created by Talent Systems) can be used but not edited

Tips

  • Create profiles for common role families (e.g., "Engineering Leadership," "Customer-Facing")
  • Profiles save time when you're creating multiple similar postings
  • Removing a competency from a profile doesn't affect postings that already use it
