Talent Pool

Search and import candidates from your talent pool with AI relevancy scoring.

The talent pool is a database of candidates synced from your Airtable integration. It uses AI-powered relevancy scoring to match candidates to your job postings.

How Relevancy Scoring Works

Each candidate's resume is converted into a vector embedding. When you search from a posting, the system compares this embedding against the posting's job description embedding to calculate a match score.

Score ranges:

  • 80%+ (green) — Strong match
  • 70-79% (yellow) — Good match
  • Below 70% (gray) — Potential match

Import from Talent Pool

  1. On a posting detail page, click "Import from Talent Pool"
  2. Search by name or email
  3. Results show relevancy badges when the posting has a JD
  4. Expand any result to see a resume preview
  5. Click "View Full Profile" for the full resume and match details
  6. Click "Invite" to send an interview invitation

Candidates already on the posting are filtered out automatically.

Find Top Applicants

Click "Find Top Applicants" to surface the best matches automatically:

  1. The system syncs any new candidates from Airtable (5-minute cooldown)
  2. Ranks all talent pool candidates by relevancy to the posting
  3. Displays results in a modal, sorted by match score
  4. Candidates already on the posting are excluded

Data Freshness

The talent pool syncs from Airtable:

  • On search — a delta sync checks for new records before returning results
  • Daily — an automated sync runs at 6 AM UTC
  • Manual — platform administrators can trigger a manual sync
